°A Note on Bandwidth Pricing & Consumption
In simple terms, we ask our customer to pay for the bandwidth they use. The pricing of bandwidth involves a data capacity/rate (Kilobits per second - kbps) and time on the internet at that rate. 400kbps is plenty of capacity for normal surfing and downloading activity. However, if you are constantly "pegging" or maxing out your bandwidth, that is an indication that you need to increase your bandwidth rate and service level.

Customers using voice over IP (VoIP) telephony or streaming media, etc. are required to pay a surcharge based upon their cumulative bandwidth consumption. We generally discourage the use of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services on our network at this time. Exceptions can be made but contact us first before installing such a device (i.e. Vonage).
