Internet Service Installation

Prior to installation, it's necessary to establish that there is line-of-sight from one of our towers to the customer location. Where line-of-sight is marginal, it may be necessary to perform a signal test to validate the link.

Actual installation consists of attaching the radio, sometimes including a small dish, on the outside of the residence or structure where it can see the tower. Cat 5 data cable (ethernet) is run down to the location of the computer. The Cat 5 plugs into a power injector which is then plugged into a router or computer.

The cost of the standard installation is $250.00 which includes the first drop, 75 feet of Cat 5 and configuration of a router. Additional drops are $75.00/ and cable beyond 75 feet costs .30/ft.

For service calls that are the result of problems not involving our equipment, there is a $30 trip charge and $45/hr. If you require network consulting, we can provide that also at $60/hr.
